Man falsely arrested sends letter to Ontario Attorney General, Chris Bentley +  

A man who was accosted and arrested by court security on Tuesday March 14, 2010. In response to his false arrest and imprisonment, the man has sent a letter to Ontario's Attorney General.

York Region CAS driver charged with sexual interference with a minor 2  

Canada Court Watch has received information from the public that a driver with the York Region CAS has been charged by police for sexual assault on a young child from the York CAS Region.

It is alleged that the driver stopped his car while driving the boy from a supervised visit at the CAS offices and assaulted by the young boy sexually in his vehicle.

Even though the CAS worker was released on bail, the bail conditions DID NOT include that the driver not have contact with other children or that he could not continue to drive for CAS.

Public meeting to be held in Muskoka concerning child protection in the region +  

Canada Court Watch has received an influx of calls from parents in the Muskoka region regarding claims of abuses by the workers with the Muskoka Children's Aid Society. A number of those affected have indicated that they would like to hold a public forum in the area to discuss the issues involving the CAS with others in their community and to discuss what can be done to fix the problems with the local child protection system.

(June 29, 2010) Yesterday, on Monday June 28, 2010 a teenager fled the care and control of the Kitchener Waterloo CAS and has disclosed on videotape how he and other children were being abused in care over a long period of time. This teens testimony was backed up by another teen in the same foster home which Canada Court Watch has on video as well.
