A Message to All Canadian Judges |
|
To all Judges: We appreciate the time you are taking to visit this website and we hope that you will
take this opportunity to familiarize yourself with the To our knowledge, this site is one of the first of its kind in Canada. It is intended to become a permanent site with the purpose of monitoring the delivery of justice to Canadians. It is operated by citizens and based on information submitted by those who have been involved in the legal process. At this time, we are focusing on the family law system as this seems to be the area where children and families are being most adversely affected and where the current adversarial family law system seems to be the most ineffective when dealing with families, especially where matters of divorce and separation are involved. Respected Canadian lawyers have stated on record that many of the procedures in family law are without actual foundation in the development of Canadian law. Many have stated publicly that our courts are corrupt and systemic gender bias is a reality in our justice system. There has been a significant loss of respect for Canadian justice. This has been further exacerbated by the fact that many Canadian families, including our young people, are clearly perceiving a lack of concern for true justice in the Canadian Court System at large. This is of very grave concern of the National Association for Public and Private Accountability (N.A.P.P.A.) and all Canadians. A system of justice that does not appear to respect the rights of its citizens can only engender mounting distain from the public. Canadians are known throughout the world for their patience and their desire to see fair play. Sadly, the patience of Canadian citizens coast to coast is running out. Now is the time for those people such as yourselves to act in the best interests of Canadians and their families. We desperately need to see grounds for renewed respect in the legal realm. This can only come with strong decisive leadership from judges who are not afraid to stand up for true justice. No longer are Canadians prepared to tolerate tyranny in the courts! N.A.P.P.A.and the Canada Court Watch Program have only one desire and that is to achieve justice for all Canadians regardless of their station in life. Judges, who clearly show impartiality and a sense of fair play have no need to be concerned about N.A.P.P.A. and the Canada Court Watch Program. However, where it is obvious that judges have not taken time to read the pleadings or become fully versed in the facts of the cases entrusted in their care, N.A.P.P.A. will be swift to respond through the Canada Court Watch Program. As Canadians, we are grateful to those judges (and there are many of them) who promote an open process and are willing to have what they do and say in their courts, made available to the public. It is our sincere desire to work with the existing system to improve it by utilizing the very important concept of accountability. No judge should have any reason for concern of any kind if he or she is clearly in possession of the facts of the cases before them and adjudicates accordingly. Conversely, we have a duty to the Canadian public, who have clearly been abused time and again by some judges who are obviously not worthy of the trust that has been given to them. Every organization and every profession, should be able to be held accountable for its behavior. At the present time N.A.P.P.A. and the Canada Court Watch Program appear to be the only such vehicle as far as judges are concerned. It is our hope that we can be supportive and of assistance to our judges who have such a serious responsibility to the people they serve. We do know from our dealings with the general public that what our organization stands for and the goals that we have set enjoy a great deal of support from members of the general public. Many members of the public have reported to us that they are anxious to see the change from a mere legal system to a system of true justice We will of course do our very best to ensure that all information posted on this site is factual, however, we want to make it very clear that we will at all times, welcome any accurate information that gives us cause to correct any errors that we may have made. To ensure the highest level of accountability within our organization for the work that we do, we have established a citizens' committee consisting of respected people from the general community who will review any complaint or concern that may come from any judge, any member of the general public or from any professional. It is our long term goal to set up independent committees in communities so that each community group can deal with complaints originating in its own judicial area. Should you find any information in your file or any information posted on this that site you feel does not reflective the true facts of any case, then we invite you to share your concerns through our mailing address or our email. All concerns will be thoroughly examined through a civilian complaints review committee. A written response to any concern will be provided within a reasonable time. As outlined in the founding principles of our organization, it is our purpose to make our legal system the best in the world and to once again make Canada's judges respected by all reasonable citizens across this great country of ours. It is our sincere hope that with the help of all judges we can facilitate a new era of respect and appreciation for our Canadian justice system. We will continue tirelessly to pursue our goal to ensure equality, fairness and justice for all Canadian children and their families. We, as concerned citizens of Canada look forward to working with the judges across this great land of ours in order to ensure that true justice is carried out. Respectfully, The Citizens of the Canada Court Watch Program |
