Quotes to Inspire

"Few will have the greatness to bend history; however, each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope... and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."

— Robert F. Kennedy

Teen makes video statement about abuse by Children's Aid Society 06/28/10

(June 29, 2010) Yesterday, on Monday June 28, 2010 a teenager fled the care and control of the Kitchener Waterloo CAS and has disclosed on videotape how he and other children were being abused in care over a long period of time. This teens testimony was backed up by another teen in the same foster home which Canada Court Watch has on video as well.

This teen's signed statement which was signed while being videotaped by a child and family advocate shows how children continue to be abused by the various CAS agencies in Ontario. These agencies continue to operate behind of veil of secrecy and manage to hide the truth by keeping preventing the children from being able to speak freely to those on the outside.

Parents are urged to send the link to the attached document to their own MPP with a short note to help bring attention and awareness to the plight of children in the Province of Ontario in the care of the CAS in Ontario who are being abused TODAY.

To those parents who have teenage children in care of the CAS, having the teens meet secretly with a child advocate and to disclose on video is a powerful tool in which to gain the teen's freedom from the clutches of the CAS and possibly help to begin a lawsuit against the CAS.
