Quotes to Inspire

People crushed by laws, have no hope but to evade power. If the laws are their enemies, they will be enemies to the law; and those who have most to hope and nothing to lose will always be dangerous.

15-year-old girl assaulted by police and CAS staff

(April 9, 2011) A 15-year-old teen has contacted Court Watch to advise us that she was assaulted by police and forced into a police cruiser and told that she would be arrested if she did not comply. All this at the order of CAS workers acting unlawfully and giving orders to police to do the dirty work of the CAS workers.

The girl was not involved in any crime and was being apprehended because of claims of poor parenting by her mother. Once she was taken into a CAS facility, the girl was stripped searched for recording devices and cell phones. Of course this is all part of the evil system of CAS to ensure that children cannot get information about abuse in CAS care to the outside world.

Even if the teen did not have the best of mothers, this does not give the CAS and police the right to treat the teen as a criminal. This is one of the problems with abuse of power by police and CAS workers. Victims are being abused by the system and abused again, not by their parents but by police and CAS workers themselves.

Once inside the CAS facility, the girl reported that she caught one CAS worker having sex with one of the other vulnerable young girls. Abuse of power and authority inside group homes is one of the other problems facing may young teens in care of the CAS.

More on this story in the near future.
